So, here I am again, after hiding from the internet for a while. Some might have noticed I have neglected almost all networks I was active on except from talking to close friends and family. I wanted a kind of hiatus because.. well.. present in my noisy silly weeaboo age. After lots of cheap amateur animu art (which of course in my eyes was the best of the best) childish drama’s and lots of Mary Sue, I couldn’t handle all the spaghetti dripping from my screen anymore when I grew out of that fase. So I began lurking everything, followed everything, but never had the guts again to post because everybody got that impression of me as the annoying weeaboo.

I began to practice a lot, and I still am. In the time I didn’t post I did draw a lot, getting loose from the generic anime stuff, but I don’t think it’s ready to share yet.

But here is something I did want to share, and maybe the key to sharing my work again. It’s a fanart from Creatures 4~ (Mostly to kill the time when waiting for the game hehe…)

I’m soooooooo excited for that game. I actually really like the norn designs compared to the older games. (Although I still hope for cute tails, horns and some cute haircuts!) But the C4 norns have more acceptable proportions, which I like more then eyes that leave no room for a brain. (Maybe that’s why C2 norns were so stupid..)
But I still think all norns are the most adorable things ever to excist~

So I made this drawing of 2 norn siblings (that still need a name) just being norny. I tried my best at making the environment C4 style, but the generic happy earth-like levels are my biggest pet-peeve with the game. It doesn’t look like another planet at al Fishing Cactus! It looks like Dora could be walking right into my game. So I tried making a generic happy forest on a mysterious alien planet, but I couldn’t resist adding some cool idea’s to the flora. So why is the tree so weird and swirly?;o; I thought it would be a nice touch that the tree actually grows from smaller roots twisting and bending together into one thick tree. What’s that weird plant hanging over the tree? ;w; The whole reason why that tree is my norns favorite hangout place! I got inspired by the creepy, weird look of Spanish moss, so I decided to use it to make these awkward but enchanting kind of berry plant. And ofcourse norns love them. However, the blue guy seems much more interested in something else, while his timid little sister doesn’t understand what to do with him.
